01. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small records stored by your browser. Websites can also use local storage, which can persist between visits, and session storage, which is normally limited to a browser tab's session.
The new storefront uses browser storage for shopping and privacy preferences. Optional analytics is controlled separately. The entries below distinguish code currently present from services that still need a production check.
02. Storefront features
Choosing “Only necessary” leaves the storefront's shopping and privacy-preference features available.
- Your privacy choice
ounin-consent-v1· Local storage. Saves your analytics choice, its version, and the time selected. The current implementation has no fixed expiry; a new choice replaces it and a consent-version change makes an old choice invalid.- Your shopping cart
ounin-new-cart-v1· Local storage. Remembers cart items between visits. The current implementation has no fixed expiry; items change when you edit the cart. This record does not hold payment-card details.- Product-list preview
ounin:listing-preview:v1:…· Session storage. Helps show a cached product-list presentation while fresh data loads. The code only reuses snapshots up to 30 minutes old; they do not determine live checkout prices or availability.
You can remove these records through your browser's site-data controls. Doing so may reset your privacy choice or cart.
03. Optional analytics
The storefront's GA4 integration is designed to load only after “Allow analytics” is selected and valid measurement configuration is available. It does not load Google tags on the local loopback preview. Advertising storage and advertising personalization remain denied in this integration.
- Campaign attribution
ounin-attribution-v1· Local storage. After analytics consent, records cleaned campaign and referral information to understand which visits lead to shopping activity. The current record has no fixed expiry; it remains until cleared or replaced. Declining later stops new tracking but does not automatically delete an existing record.- Google Analytics cookies — planned
_gaand_ga_<container-id>are Google's documented cookies for distinguishing users and maintaining session state. Google documents a default duration of two years; the actual deployed settings still need verification. These are not cookies observed being set by this local preview. Google's cookie documentation.
04. Change your choice
Select “Only necessary” to decline optional analytics or “Allow analytics” to permit it. Reopen “Privacy choices” in the footer whenever you want to change the selection.
Changing to “Only necessary” stops new analytics events from this storefront's integration. It does not erase information already sent, delete existing browser cookies, or automatically change choices on Shopify checkout or another website.
For browser-side deletion, use your browser's cookie and site-data controls. For questions about personal information already collected, use the contact details in the privacy policy.
05. Connected services
Shopify checkout
Checkout is provided on Shopify. Its domain can use additional cookies and storage for checkout, security, and other configured features. This storefront's preference does not automatically control that separate domain; its settings and notices require their own review.
Cloudflare and form protection
Cloudflare hosting and Turnstile verification are planned for the public site. Turnstile evaluates browser signals for abuse prevention. Its optional pre-clearance mode can issue a clearance cookie, but this draft does not claim that mode is enabled. Review Cloudflare's Turnstile information.
Before publication: audit the final domain, Shopify checkout, actual cookies, third-party resources, Google settings, Turnstile settings, storage lifetimes, and any applicable opt-out requirements. Do not treat this local inventory as a complete production inventory.
06. More information
Read the existing Ounin privacy policy or contact support@ouninglobal.com for help. The policy still needs to be aligned with the new storefront before launch.
This notice is a review draft, not a declaration that every production privacy requirement has been met.
